Prepare the dough:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, milk, water, vegetable oil, egg and salt. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest while you prepare the filling.
Make the filling:
Cook the chicken breast until fully cooked, then cut it into small pieces.
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried mint, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt. Toss well to evenly coat the chicken.
Assemble the Börek:
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
Roll out each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
Spread a layer of chicken filling over each circle of dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over chicken filling.
Place the tomato slices on top of the cheese.
Shape and bake:
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to enclose it and form a sealed pocket.
Place the stuffed börek on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top of the börek with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for about 30 to 35 minutes or until the börek is golden brown and cooked through.
To serve:
Serve the chicken and cheese stuffed börek hot as a delicious appetizer or main course.
